Taming Small Terrors: Self Control in the Early Years

Self control has repeatedly been shown to play an important role in predicting success in children by allowing them to delay short-term gratification for long-term benefits. This presentation aims to take a deeper look at strategies and programs that are effective, as well as a discussion of the benefits (and perhaps costs) of these ideas.
